A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Ornos - Asteri Hotel 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
From the moment we arrived at the Asteri Hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mina. She lovingly restored this family-owned building in the heart of Ornos, just steps away from the beach and right across from the supermarket, complete with a convenient private parking.
Mina is a sweet and special host who gave us invaluable advice and made us feel right at home. We'll always remember how she went above and beyond to help us by washing our clothes to prepare for a wedding we were attending the next day.
But the real treasure of this hotel is its location: it lets you breathe in the true life of Mykonos, away from the city's tourist bustle, yet just minutes away from the center. You can reach the beach on foot and enjoy the tranquillity of the island's more traditional side.
The cleanliness of the hotel is truly impressive, from the floors to the perfectly restored, clean, and new bathrooms. Ornos proved to be particularly convenient for reaching all points of interest, including the airport and local taverns.
I highly recommend everyone to stay here, especially those seeking a retreat into peace and quiet, away from mass tourism. But it's truly Mina who makes this place special. Thank you, Mina, for making our Mykonos experience unforgettable!
